Statewide Day of Action to END Deportations

Statewide Day of Action to END Deportations
On Thanksgiving, while millions of Americans will be sitting down with family, thousands of families in our communities will be suffering separation from their loved ones because of inhumane detentions and deportations.
As part of the growing momentum calling for an end to the deportations, a broad coalition of East Bay and SF immigrant rights organizations and allies, will be holding a vigil at the Richmond detention center (West Co. Detention Facility), where immigrant detainees are held.

This is part of statewide actions at immigrant detention centers across California on November 27th, the day before Thanksgiving.

San Jose will be holding their own vigil that day as well (scroll down for details).

We hope that you can participate in one of these two local actions.
